The Formula One power couple, who got engaged in November 2025, chose to hold an intimate civil ceremony at the iconic Villa La Vigie, attended only by their closest friends and family. Once the residence of Karl Lagerfeld, the villa overlooks the Mediterranean, perfectly capturing the elegance and charm of Monaco.

On the day, Alexandra wore the absolute dream gown by Australian designer Paolo Sebastian: A French lace mermaid dress featuring a classic off-shoulder ruffled neckline and long sleeves. The fitted silhouette beautifully highlighted her figure, as the entire gown was adorned with intricate three-dimensional floral and butterfly embroidery. The sleeves transitioned into sheer fabric, and the back was finished with almost invisible 1950s-style buttons. She styled her hair in an elegant chignon and carried a delicate bouquet of baby’s breath, creating a fresh and graceful bridal look. Her jewellery, by Graff, included a Classic Butterfly diamond necklace and matching earrings, alongside her engagement ring.

Charles opted for a light ivory suit, sharply tailored with a modern silhouette, paired with a pale grey tie that echoed the bride’s refined aesthetic. Both chose white as the main tone, symbolising purity and a new beginning. Their beloved dog Leo even joined the celebration in a tiny suit.

The most talked-about moment came as the newlyweds made their exit: Charles himself took the wheel of a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, driving Alexandra and Leo through the streets of Monaco. This legendary 3.0-litre V12 endurance racer helped Ferrari secure the World Sports Car Championship in 1958, 1960, and 1961, along with multiple victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With only around 33 units ever produced, the car is one of Ferrari’s most celebrated creations. By choosing it as their getaway car, Charles paid tribute to his deep connection with the Scuderia heritage. More than a symbol of racing history, the car represented a romantic continuation, from the racetrack to the fast lane of life. As Charles put it, “A day we’ll forever remember.”

From the racetrack to married life, the newlyweds have also brought a wave of happiness to the upcoming 2026 Formula One Australian Grand Prix.
