New in Fashion: Gucci Shift Trainers, Versace Embodied, and The North Face x Aimé Leon Dore

A round-up of the latest in menswear this week sees brands unveiling fresh campaigns, collections, and creative visions.

Versace Embodied: A New Chapter

Versace launches its first project under the direction of newly appointed Creative Director Dario Vitale, redefining the “Essence of Versace” by bridging past, present and future, and presenting a collective sensory feast.

The project returns to the origin of Medusa at Via Gesù 12 in Milan, gathering diverse artists whose works span photography, poetry, music, and film. These creative expressions intertwine with treasures from the Versace archive, conveying a powerful interplay of freedom and emotion, while paying tribute to the brand’s heritage and its cultural pioneers.

Legendary photographer Steven Meisel, who shares a long-standing relationship with the house, contributes a portfolio inspired by his New York shoots, titled Istante. Meanwhile, Stef Mitchell presents a new photographic work, Binx on a Bike, capturing with precision the rebellious, fearless, and youthful energy at the core of Versace. Renowned poet and novelist Eileen Myles also lends her voice with the poem Put It Back, a response to the intimate, bodily, and emotional dimensions of the brand.

The North Face x Aimé Leon Dore Collaboration

The North Face and Aimé Leon Dore officially release their limited-edition collaboration, accompanied by a new campaign that fuses outdoor performance with streetwear aesthetics.

The collection reimagines classics such as the Nuptse down jacket and Denali fleece, crafted in Casentino wool, premium leather, and nylon, and presented in signature colourways including Starlight Gold and Legendary Blue.

Project Director David Whetstone noted that this collaboration unites The North Face’s spirit of exploration with Aimé Leon Dore’s cultural storytelling, elevating these timeless pieces to new heights.

RIMOWA Original Aluminium Backpack

RIMOWA introduces the Original series silver aluminium backpack, extending the brand’s signature craftsmanship into innovative new products. Once again, it proves that RIMOWA is not limited to its iconic luggage.

The design integrates an aluminium shell with the brand’s distinctive grooved pattern, reimagined in a daily-use backpack. Meticulously crafted at RIMOWA’s Cologne factory in Germany, the piece is produced with a specially developed set of dedicated equipment, highlighting the brand’s commitment to precision and excellence.

The accompanying campaign film portrays the backpack as a trusted companion across 24 hours of city life—whether navigating bustling streets, cycling to the next meeting, or boarding a flight to explore new horizons, it seamlessly fulfils every need.

Gucci Shift Sneakers

Debuting at the Gucci Cruise 2026 fashion show in Florence, the new Gucci Shift sneakers are now officially launched. Designed with sport in mind, they incorporate the House’s iconic Web stripe and equestrian-inspired details, striking a perfect balance between tradition and contemporary aesthetics.

The men’s edition is crafted from plain leather, washed leather, and GG canvas. The tongue and heel are accented with the Web stripe, while an oversized Gucci logo is embossed on the sole, adding a distinctly modern edge.

With their versatile design, the Gucci Shift enters a new chapter of dynamic style. The campaign imagery, presented with an understated ease, recalls the signature aesthetic of the House’s new Creative Director, Demna.

Dior Reinterprets the Saddle Bag

Unveiled as part of the Dior Men’s Winter 2025–2026 collection, the Saddle bag returns in a striking new guise. The House’s iconic piece has been reimagined as a one-of-a-kind wearable artwork. Its structure, both intricate and refined, reflects Dior’s exceptional craftsmanship, while the addition of an interior zip pocket introduces enhanced practicality.

The updated design is available in two fabric variations: smooth-grain leather and leather combined with Dior Oblique jacquard. It can also be styled with a miniature tailor’s mannequin keyring, a subtle tribute to Dior’s storied tailoring tradition.

Dsquared2 x Vaquera Collaboration


To mark its 30th anniversary, Dsquared2 has unveiled a special collaboration with Vaquera, debuting during Milan Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2025. The collection merges Dsquared2’s signature denim and Western influences with Vaquera’s avant-garde experimental aesthetic, resulting in a bold and energetic line-up of pieces. Among the highlights is the limited-edition “Iconic Skate” boot, a design inspired by Dsquared2’s family spirit and Vaquera’s New York street culture, emphasising both rebelliousness and innovation.

Tumi's "Icons Tested" Campaign

Tumi joins forces with global brand ambassadors — McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris and professional golfer Nelly Korda — to unveil its “Icons Tested” campaign. The project highlights the shared ethos of the two athletes: discipline, precision, relentless testing, and the pursuit of excellence. Tumi underscores the same values through its rigorous testing process and exceptional performance, reflecting the attitude of athletes who strive for the very peak.

Directed by Australian filmmaker Kiku Ohe and captured by photographer Simon Lipman, the campaign authentically portrays the discipline and routines behind Norris and Korda’s daily lives, bringing to light their shared commitment to mastery and refinement.

Speaking on the campaign, Lando Norris shared, “Consistency is everything. The work never really stops, no matter the craft. I see it in how I perform on the track, and in how my TUMI essentials keep up with me, wherever I go.”
