2026 has been the year of the celeb press junket masterclass. From Jacob Elordi method dressing as Wuthering Heights‘ Heathcliff to Tom Holland teleporting onto a different red carpet what feels like every night, our moodboards are truly full. But, when famous dudes are getting kitted out in heritage houses that offer clothes costing the same as our rent (or, in the case of Chanel, aren’t even offered for men at all), we must find an alternative way of imitation.
That’s why we decided to go down south and focus on the sneakers these guys have been wearing. Below, we’ve picked out seven of the biggest headline-making trainer moments in 2026 so far, and where you can buy them.
1 Timothée Chalamet: Asics Gel Kayano 14

Marty Supreme and Dune: Part Three are making sure that Timothée Chalamet is having a big 2026, pumped up by some seriously good sneaker picks. And while he opted for a pair of Salomons for behind the scenes with Josh Safdie, when it was time to kick back on holiday, Timmy went for a pair of Asics Gel Kayano 14s. Now, these weren’t your run-of-the-mill Kayanos, but rather a collab with esteemed menswear designer Thom Browne. These days, the link-up is hard to come by, but there are still plenty of general release colourways that capture the same aesthetic.
2 François Arnaud: New Balance 9060

When a pair of sneakers is as clean and easy to style as the New Balance 9060, the rest of your outfit feels easy, too. Take Heated Rivalry’s François Arnaud as an example. When the brand dropped the crep in “Earth Shadow”, he didn’t do anything complicated with it: he simply added a mid-wash Canadian tuxedo. The shoe does all the talking, with unique colour blocking, what could only be described as an alligator tooth on the midsole, and a whole host of cool colourways still on offer.
3 Harry Style: Prada Collapse

When Harry Styles made his big ol’ comeback with Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, it had been about four years since his last studio album drop. He came back with a bang in the video for lead single “Aperture” wearing the Prada Collapse, one of the best in the genre of skinny, ballet flat-adjacent sneakerinas. It has a light upper with ever so slight support on the sole, making it the dream shoe for guys who hate chunkier creps.
4 Travis Scott: Nike Moon Shoe

It’s wild to think that a shoe Nike never officially released is now one of the most popular sneakers out there. The Moon Shoe came to be when Nike co-Founder Bill Bowerman poured hot rubber into his wife’s waffle maker. Out came a studded soles that graced the feet of just 12 athletes at the 1972 Olympics in West Germany. And now, cool dudes all over the place can’t get enough of this track-shoe-turned-summer-staple. The sneaker got the Jacquemus treatment when it first dropped in September 2025, and has since found its way onto the feet of Travis Scott on The Odyssey red carpet. It’s one of the easier-wearing trainers on this list, with a low-profile build and enough core colours to slot into anyone’s shoe rack.
5 Finn Wolfhard: Adidas Samba

As British GQ style writer Adam Cheung puts it, the Adidas Samba OG in ‘Cloud White’ is, “a colour combo once beloved by menswear guys everywhere before it became a personality trait.” Finn Wolfhard proves that something so ubiquitous can still be cool. The Samba pops off because of its flat sole, sleek upper and generally minimalistic silhouette. Add some splashes of colour and you have a shoe that’ll please the purest of sneaker conservationists, but the best way to get back into a trend is always going with an OG. That white and gum sole isn’t going anywhere.
6 Oscar Isaac: Nike Air Jordan 1

When Oscar Isaac, playing Joshua Martín in Beef season two, undersold a pair of OG Air Jordan 1 High Chicago’s, a collective broken heart was shared by sneakerheads. There are entire books and films dedicated to this shoe; it’s a trainer that revolutionised the way companies worked with athletes. These days, you’ll have to pay an arm and a leg for a pair of original Chicago 1s. Good thing the brand’s most coveted silhouette (and the shorter Mid) is released in new colourways practically every month.
7 Callum Turner: Nike Air Max Goadome

Nike dropped the Air Goadome as a direct response to the Timberland 6” boot in 2000. The result was a souped-up hiking boot with the comfort of an Air Max, and the gorp-y look of a propa hiking boot. It was the shoe of choice for Callum Turner post-romantic honeymoon with Dua Lipa, and we assume it’s because his toes needed some rest from dress shoes and loafer-related soreness. Grab the exact pair, why don’t ya.
